A 15-year-old freshman at Lenape High School has died following a devastating pedestrian accident on Church Street in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, leaving his school community, teammates, and family in mourning.

The Incident

On the evening of Sunday, May 3, emergency units were dispatched to the 1400 block of Church Street at approximately 8:30 p.m. in response to reports of a pedestrian-involved crash. Upon arrival, first responders found a 15-year-old boy who had been struck by a vehicle. The teenager was immediately transported to Cooper Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Victim
